Leave Us a Gift in Your Will

Why your legacy gift matters

If you are thinking about leaving a Legacy Donation in your Will to help continue the vital work done by the RSPCA you may wish to consider leaving an amount specifically to assist in the care and protection of animals in your local area, and make a donation to RSPCA Wigan, Leigh and District branch.

Many animal lovers choose to leave our Branch a gift in their Will, helping us to continue our vital local animal welfare work for many years to come. Legacy gifts are hugely important as every year they fund a considerable proportion of our costs and underpin so much of our work.

By deciding to remember us in your Will, you'll help us to be there to care for animals in need, adapting to any new challenges that we may face. You'll help create a future that's kinder to animals.

Leaving a legacy to a charity such as ours allows you to carry on caring long after you are gone,  helping us to carry on our valuable animal welfare work into the future.

How you can make a legacy gift

It is straightforward to have a Will drawn up and if you have already made your Will but would now like to leave us a gift, you can arrange to add a codicil to your existing Will.

If you want your legacy to benefit local animals rather than the national Society, you must clearly state the beneficiary as the RSPCA Wigan, Leigh & District Branch, Charity number: 232249.
