The National Helpline
operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Important Notice (25/03/2020)

Due to the UK Government Coronavirus restrictions we are closed.

We are unable to accept animals from members of the public.

No animals can be rehomed or fostered at this time.

If you are concerned about an animal please phone the RSPCA for advice on: 0300 1234 999.

If you have a badly injured stray animal or wildlife please call your local vet for advice. Please do not attend a vet practice without calling it first.

The RSPCA continues to care for the animals and our inspectors continue to respond to emergencies. Thank you for your continued help and support.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept donations of goods for our charity shops at this time.

This is an incredibly difficult time for us across the RSPCA and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Take care

Welcome to the website of the Wigan and Leigh District Branch of the RSPCA.
The RSPCA Wigan, Leigh & District Branch works within the guidelines of the national RSPCA to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals, but we are a separately registered charity. We support the care and welfare of local animals within the wider Wigan and Leigh district.

On this website you can find information about animal rehoming, our clinic, charity shop and how you can help local animals.
