Some of the local animals we have helped The RSPCA Wigan, Leigh & District Branch works within the rules, policies and guidelines of the national RSPCA to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals and to support the care and welfare of local animals within the wider Wigan and Leigh district area.

As part of that work, we operate the PAWS Centre Animal Clinic offering low cost vet treatment for dogs and cats belonging to people who are in receipt of income-related or means-tested benefits. However, we are a separately registered charity and we are responsible for our own funding.
