Our Charity Shop
Our Charity Shop
Our charity shop is the most important source of regular income for the branch and is crucial in keeping our welfare vet clinic running.
Why not donate your unwanted items so that they can be recycled and turned into money to help us continue our vital animal welfare work.
We are happy to accept:
Clothing, shoes and bags
Unwanted gifts (such as packaged, new toiletries)
Accessories, jewellery, belts etc
Books
CDs, DVDs (that aren’t home recorded) and computer games
Homeware, such as bric-a-brac, ornaments, china, kitchenware and photo frames etc
Children’s toys and games (with a CE label if it’s a soft toy)
Small, working, electrical items such as table lamps, radios, clocks, etc
Some items of larger furniture (by prior arrangement only)
We can accept any textiles - even ragged old clothes! - but please bag separately and inform staff it is a ‘rag’ donation.
We may also be able to come and collect larger items for collection.
If you’re unsure if you can donate certain items, please give our charity shop a ring before you drop by with your donations.
Please only donate items that are clean and in a good condition.
It costs us money to dispose of unsaleable goods - which is money that could be spent to help local animals.
Our charity shop would not be able to run if it were not for the wonderful volunteers that selflessly give up their time and expertise to make a difference to the lives of so many local animals.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our friendly team.
