Donations of clothing, bric-a-brac, household items, toys and books are always welcome.
We can also accept donations of small items of furniture and electrical items as we have someone qualified to test and certify these.

Items can be dropped off at the shop before 10.30am or after 4pm in the loading bay outside the Queens Hall, or dropped off at the RSPCA PAWS Centre in York Street, Wallgate between 9am and 4.30pm.

If you have items of furniture or several bags of goods and/or clothes that you cannot drop off yourself, please telephone 01942 248493 to arrange a pick up. Please note that we may have to make a small fuel charge for this.

February 2012 Appeal

Regular visitors to our charity shop in Market Street, Wigan will know that over the last year we have suffered repeatedly from leaks due to faulty roof tiles and guttering. Managers Alison Dooley and Allan Yates and their merry, loyal band of volunteers deserve a medal for clearing up after every downpour.

Our landlord has finally fixed the underlying problem, but the ingress of water has caused damage to both floors and ceilings and we now have to repair the internal damage and refurbish the shop.

Please, please, show your support by donating saleable goods of all kinds, (new and nearly new items especially welcome) to sell in our shop.

You may drop items off either ouside the shop before 10.30am and after 4pm in the loading bay outside the Queens Hall, or bring them to our PAW Centre in York Street anytime between 9am and 4.30pm. If you have a lot of items please phone our shop on 01942 248493 and we may be able to help with transport.

Last year, the shop raised over £20,000 towards the cost of the clinic and finding new homes for animals at risk.
