REHOMING
This branch does not have an Animal Centre and may not always be able to accept unwanted animals from the public. Our role is to assist the RSPCA Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers who are dealing with abused and at-risk animals. Dogs are often transferred to neighbouring RSPCA animal centres for rehoming. The majority of our cats are fostered and rehomed mainly at Gilmore's Vets in Standish. (More about adopting animals...)

Adopting an animal from us
If you are interested in adopting an animal from us, please contact us. All our animals are neutered and microchipped prior to rehoming, which is included in the adoption fee: Dogs: Crossbreeds - £75, Purebreds - up to £120; Cats: £45; Rabbits: £25.
The branch will carry out a home visit before you adopt an animal from us. We will discuss with you all the requirements of the pet you have chosen and it is also an opportunity for you to ask questions. We follow RSPCA guidelines when rehoming our animals and on occasions we may have to say no.
Acceptance fees
When accepting animals for rehoming, we also apply the following fees: Dogs - £35; Cats - £20; Rabbits - £10; Other animal species - donations welcome.
