Help us financially by making a donationRehoming

Our primary role is to assist the RSPCA Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers who are dealing with abused and at-risk animals. We do not have an Animal Centre:

Adopting an animal from us

All our animals are de-flead, wormed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to rehoming -
        - and this is all included in the adoption fee
:

Dogs (crossbreeds): £75;

Cats: £45;

Rabbits: £25.

We talk to EVERYONE who is taking on an animal about the whole spectrum of the care, commitment, housing and costs involved. This is to help people make an educated choice and safeguards the animal involved, our primary concern. We will carry out a home visit before you adopt an animal from us and will discuss with you all the requirements of the pet you have chosen - it is also an opportunity for you to ask questions. We follow RSPCA guidelines when rehoming our animals and, on occasion, we may have to say no.

Pip

January 2012

Pip came to us with a horrific abscess to his front leg; he was in severe pain and in a really bad way because he had been in that condition for so long. He had also hurt his eye and his tail but he is starting to heal well now.

He looks old in the photos but when you look closely he really isn't more than a few years old - he is already neutered.

If anyone deserves a new start Pip certainly does!!!

More pictures of Pip can be seen on our Facebook page.

Imogen

January 2012

This stunning beauty is Imogen. She is a 3-year-old neutered female tortie and white cat.

She was rescued by an inspector when she was found with a sore eye, taken to the RSPCA hospital in Salford and had a foreign body removed from her right eye. She has recovered very well and only a small scar remains that will probably reduce/vanish over time.

She is now ready to look for a new home

More pictures of Imogen can be seen on our Facebook page.

Giving up your pet for rehoming

This branch does not have an Animal Centre so we are not always able to accept unwanted animals from the public. On the occasions when we are able to accept an unwanted animal from a member of the public for rehoming, we apply the following donations:
